Cité de la Mode et du Design - Les Docks de Paris Underground and train station
complex called The Docks en Seine (Seine Docks) is a gigantic work of regeneration, with 300 meters facade on the left bank of the Seine and 12 thousand meters square, between the Bercy and Austerlitz bridges.
This project proposes the conservation of existing concrete structure in the old port of Paris, admired Le Corbusier building.
original modulated structure of reinforced concrete, designed by architect Georges Morin Goustiaux in 1907, was itself considered a breakthrough for its time. The century-old building served as market port warehouse, warehouse textile and educational center. The building is a permanent stage for cultural, commercial and entertainment related to fashion and design, making it a more appealing for those who are looking for innovation and charm.
is important to remember that the left bank of the Seine is known as the innovative edge, while the right bank is considered traditional. This fact is related to the history of fashion, when Yves Saint Laurent to retaliation for refusing to accommodate the rigid rules of the House of Haute Couture, launched the famous brand YSL Rive Gauche (Left Bank, in French).
To get an idea of \u200b\u200bits geographical uniqueness and strength that it may have to draw crowds, this space is intended to be the only one on the Seine completely open to the public.
The brand new City of Fashion and Design promises to be open both day and night rides with internal and external, plazas, a terraced garden, a terrace, and other public facilities. The architects Dominique Jakob and Brendan Macfarlane even 4,300 meters square reserved for events, parades and exhibitions, plus 3,500 square meters dedicated to commercial use and supply.
In a clear indication that the building complex environment can revolutionize the fashion and design, 2,200 square feet shelter the new headquarters of the Institut Français de la Mode (French Fashion Institute) training space, a bliblioteca and a gallery devoted to fashion.
Rumour has it that the place, formerly owned no appeal except the monumental Institut du Monde Arabe, designed by Jean Novel in the vicinity, will become one of the most beautiful buildings (re) born in Paris, combining cement and glass in an environmentally sound vision, and generating economic and cultural development for the next 50 years.

NORTH OF THE LAST MEETING GOAL ARGENTINA.
was missing something to stop the project and that something was to travel to Formosa to take donations. Last week we traveled with the Gypsies, Ale and Diego (two friends) to the northern tip of Argentina, once again. Thus, the project De Cara al Viento came to an end after 11,000 km traveled and met all its objectives. We can continue to the following, which I will comment a little below.
We took a week to stay in the north, get there was not easy. We wanted to go before but the reality is that we did not get support to cover fuel costs. Finally in August, get support. Families own wills and SEOFFRA (sponsor of the trip) together towards the ultimate goal. Better late than never.
To summarize a bit, the trip was a success. We met many people, with good vocation for teaching and doing for others. Our starting point was the town of Las Lomitas in the center of the province. From there everything started to connect so incredible. The first step was to find a teacher who got up on the road hitchhiking. Coincidentally, this teacher was in contact with many caring people. So we come to the house and Beto Pichona who did not take long to call the directors of the nearest school. We had lunch with them and we went to visit schools. Continuing
