Matsui Tv With Dvd Sound Problems
Cutting state and federal funds for the operations of the observatory at the University of California-Bekeley in Hat Creek has forced the suspension of activities of Allen radio telescope (ATA), dedicated specifically to the search for alien signals in the deep universe.
According to its website (www.seti.org / ata), the SETI Institute works to ensure that the telescope will be operational as soon as possible. It means that for the first time in history, SETI researchers are ready to use the ATA to discuss the large number of small planetary systems is beginning to be revealed by NASA's Kepler Mission.
Allen Telescope now has a set of 42 dishes, which will become 350, each 6 meters in diameter.
Until now, the SETI project has depended on borrowed time instruments such as the Arecibo telescope in Puerto Rico, which has limited capacity. However, the ATA, named for the co-founder of Microsoft, Paul Allen, who donated the money for the project, allow SETI astronomers scan the skies for signs of extraterrestrial intelligence 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
