Science Project And Mascara

The supernova, called 2008am, is at 3,700 million light-years from Earth. At its maximum brightness was more than 100,000 million times brighter than the Sun
Issued
enough energy in one second to meet the energy needs of the United States (a country that consumes more electricity in the world) for a period of time a million times greater than the time elapsed since the creation of the universe.
The details of this supernova, including images of the Baja Imaging Spectrometer resolution Keck I telescope, is helping a team of astronomers to delve into the fascinating physical phenomena underlying this rare type of supernova. Supernova 2008am
was discovered by astronomers led by Emmanouil Chatzopoulos and J. Craig Wheeler, University of Texas at Austin.
The comments, which were used many telescopes, and studies have been made of the data, ended by showing that 2008am is the latest addition to a new class of exploding stars that astronomers have found just a few years.
The research team has confirmed supernova 2008am is the brightest of its kind ever discovered.
